Epson Perfection V550 Scanner

Fred Litt

If you love history and enjoy the images that appear on this Facebook page, you might consider starting your own history collection. High-resolution scanning is what starts the process. The Epson Perfection V550 is the scanner I use. It’s not cheap at about $700 but it’s worth it. Oddly, its replacement, the V600, sells for only $300 on Amazon.com.

For images under 8.5×11, it’s my favorite digital capture device. If you have questions how I recover, preserve, and share history, please feel free to ask. As part of my business, Family Technology, I provide a variety of IT and digital media consulting services. My office is at 70 West Allendale Avenue, Allendale. Enjoy. Fred Fred@FamilyTechnology.com.
